Throwback Thursday - The Ford GT40

Some people post baby pictures of themselves for Throwback Thursday. Not us. Have a look.

That's the world-famous Ford GT40, a high performance endurance race car built in the 1960's. It won the 24 Hours of Le Mans race four consecutive years from 1966 to 1969. Its triumph at this world motorsports event marked the first time since 1921 that an American car manufacturer won a major European race.

The GT40 is fast, it's mean, and it's the real deal.
