South East Florida SAAC - Your Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach Car Club

A famous playwright from centuries past once wrote: "What's in a name?" We've got the answer: "A lot." Especially when your name is South East Florida Shelby American Automobile Club Region.

If you spend enough time around us, it's easy to see we're committed to being the nation's premier Shelby, Mustang, Cobra, and high performance Ford Club. How do we do that, you ask? Simple. We drive 'em, show 'em, and have fun.

So let's start at the beginning, with the "South East Florida" part. That's our "official" coverage area, but we travel all over. It doesn't matter if you're in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Collier, or Monroe - or Kalamazoo, for that matter. Our car club is inclusive, and you're welcome to join us. If you're already a member of a car club in your area, it doesn't matter, we're not jealous. Come on over to our car club.

Now let's take a look at the other half of our name, the "Shelby American" part. We're part of the Shelby American Automobile Club, a national organization, which dates back to 1975 and is dedicated to the preservation, care, history, and enjoyment of the cars Carroll Shelby created. Our regional club is part family, part leisure, part historical archive, and part refuge from the pressures of the day-to-day world. These cars provide an opportunity to lose yourself in a past when high performance, horsepower, and speed were unquestioned virtues.

And the best part is you don't even need to own one to join.

That's right, we took it that step further. If you don't own a Shelby, don't sweat it. You don't need to own a Shelby to join our car club.

We're not just about Shelbys. We're also into Mustangs, Mustang GT's, Cobras, Saleens, Roush Mustangs, early models, late-models - everyone is welcome in our car club.

Now, there are a lot of Miami car clubs, Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale car clubs too. Don't get us wrong, those car clubs are great too, and many of the car guys are our friends. But if you're ever in Miami (our headquarters) and you want to know what the muscle car club scene is about, definitely pay us a visit.

You won't be disappointed. Any way you hack it, SEFLSAAC spells American muscle, and that's what in our name.
